CONCEPT
MITOH is a performative laboratory that explores the body as a channel between visible and invisible forces.
Rooted in butoh, ritual practice and contemporary performance, this work moves beyond technique into a territory of presence, imagination and transformation.
In MITOH, the body is not used — it is listened to.
Not controlled — but moved.
ABOUT THIS EDITION
In this first volume, The Puppet, we investigate the body as structure, skeleton and vessel.
A body that is not “doing”, but being moved.
Through guided physical scores, altered states and compositional tools, participants will explore how the body can become:
♦ A puppet moved by archetypal forces
♦ A container for images, memories and impulses
♦ A structure that can dissolve and reconfigure itself
♦ A performer beyond identity
This intensive combines training + creation, allowing participants to develop material for a solo or performative work.
